The Sentinel Application Platform (SNAP) is a toolbox which contains various workable tools and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) which have been developed to expedite the usage, viewing, and processing of a variety of remotely sensed data. The tools of SNAP are accessed through the Sentinel Toolbox. The Sentinel Toolbox Menu Bar contains Radar menu that can perform Interferometric functions. This study is an attempt to highlight the importance of SNAP as a tool for InSAR applications in landslide detection. The referred literature is listed to highlight the operators involved in interferogram generation and other allied standard procedures. Simulations performed were done using Sentinel-1 data available on Copernicus data hub with product IDs listed. Conclusions drawn are generic in nature with applications in surface deformation monitoring.
