Geotechnical hazard soil liquefaction causes severe damage to life and infrastructures, for important structures’ evaluation, identification, analysis and treatment of the liquefaction must be done for soil sites to reduce liquefaction induced damage. The scope of the present work is to evaluate liquefaction for 38 boreholes using various indexes like Factor of safety (FOS), Probability of liquefaction (PL), Liquefaction potential Index (LPI) and liquefaction Severity Index (LSI) based on standard penetration test (SPT) data at different depths are available for the site. Evaluation of liquefaction has been carried out using seven different input parameters namely Corrected SPT N Value, percentage of fines (%FC), maximum horizontal acceleration (amax), effective stress (σv’), total vertical stress (σv’), magnitude of earthquake (Mw) and depth below ground level (z). The results obtained from different methods were compared.

摘要
