IoT-Based CO2 Emissions Monitoring and Control System for Industries and Transportation
摘要
The phenomenon of global warming arises from the buildup of heat-retaining gases, with carbon dioxide (CO2) being a significant contributor, within the Earth’s atmosphere. CO2 molecules absorb long-wavelength infrared radiation, intensifying the greenhouse effect. This study focuses on real-time CO2 emissions monitoring and control from industries and transportation to counteract the greenhouse impact. The proposed intelligent CO2 detector stores levels in various locations, providing cost-effectiveness and adaptability to industries and vehicles. Carbon dioxide sensors placed at tube inlets and outlets monitor levels, relayed to an IoT device for display. Unlike existing systems, this targets vehicular emissions, a major contributor to heat entrapment and global warming. Moreover, heightened CO2 exposure can cause allergies, skin irritation, and respiratory issues due to tiny lung-penetrating particles. Through dynamic integration of technology and environmental consciousness, this research strives for environmental balance and human well-being.
