Rapid Parameter Estimation of Modified Gompertz and Logistic Growth Model for Analyzing the Growth of Bacillus Subtilis SCB1

Gompertz and Logistic models are two growth models widely used to study the population growth of biological phenomena. In this study, these two models have been modified and used to study the Bacillus Subtilis SCB1 bacteria. The mathematical parameters of the model are replaced by parameters with biological meaning and five new methods of estimation have been introduced to estimate the parameters of the model using a standard growth data of Bacillus Subtilis SCB1 bacteria. The methods introduced in this paper are performed well and the estimated parameters are logically and biologically significant.
