The p, q-quasirung orthopair fuzzy set (p, q-QROFS) is a novel extension of q-rung orthopair fuzzy set (q-ROFS) that includes two parameters, p and q, to increase its flexibility and usefulness. In this paper, we present an entropy measure (EM) for p, q-QROFS to quantify its uncertainty and complexity. The proposed EM of p, q-QROFS addresses the shortcomings of existing EMs and gives a more comprehensive understanding of uncertainty. Furthermore, we investigate various desired characteristics of the proposed EM of p, q-QROFSs to confirm its existence. To highlight the benefits of the presented EM of p, q-QROFSs, we compare it to existing EMs.
