This article presents the research work on MIMO micro strip rectangular antenna design, fabrication, implementation and performance of 2 × 2 MIMO reconfigurable antenna at 2.4 GHz, designed with 40 * 40 dimensions with FR4 like substrate design and material utilizing I3d simulation software and is suitable for wireless applications. In recent years, we are getting maximum connectivity for wireless communication. Projected antenna resonates over frequency band of 2.4 GHz, as it is the most common frequency band that we encounter in our everyday life. The Gain, efficiency and return loss of the antenna 7.37 dBi, 61.15%,—21.5 respectively. Fabrication of a prototype antenna and testing it in a real-world electromagnetic environment yields satisfactory results. This also allows the antenna achieving enhanced gain and security by adjusting in noisy environment.
