An Intelligent Analysis of Waste Identification and Segregation Using Swarm Optimization
摘要
The issue of waste management poses a significant challenge to environmental sustainability, especially with the rapid growth of the economy and improvements in living standards leading to a surge in garbage production. To address this challenge at the local level, develop a unique technology for efficient and comprehensive utilization of waste resources. This technology relies on modern biodegradation and automated sorting methods, creating a complete industrial process that treats mixed household waste as mineral raw materials. In this process, organic waste undergoes anaerobic digestion, while the remaining residue is subjected to further sorting through a perforated drum system. Advanced machinery allows us to extract valuable inorganic materials such as sand, glass, pulp, and miscellaneous items like bamboo materials and pure plastics. These materials are then processed into industrial-grade materials to meet market demand. The inorganic materials recovered can be used to produce various products such as hollow blocks, paving bricks, and cleaning blocks. Additionally, using a classification algorithm to efficiently sort the waste, with a 1.01% enhancement in accuracy compared to previous methods. Experimental results demonstrate a classification accuracy of up to 99%, with a rapid classification speed of 0.95 s.
