Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) occurs in 1 per 2000–5000 live births, and one-third remains stillborn. Associated anomalies are a significant cause of poor outcomes. Antenatal diagnosis helps in prognostication and planning the management. Current management strategies have resulted in 70–80% survival of live-born babies. A significant proportion of 25–35% of prenatally diagnosed CDH remains unborn, representing the most severe disease with hidden mortality.
