Today, when we buy things online, it’s very important to keep transactions safe and protect customer details. This study suggests a new design for e-commerce shopping carts to make sure they are safe. It uses multi-step verification, tokenized payments, and free tools to make the system secure. Multi-step verification ensures it is more difficult for unauthorized people to get in through multiple stages of verification. Tokenization converts important information into tokens which is similar to encryption, making sure transactions are safe. Using open-source tools helps to make system development quicker and relatively cheaper. But there are some nuances to this, such as making it conform to the standard, working with other systems, and making clear guides. This research explores the implementation of these security measures, evaluates their impact on security and user experience, and proposes strategies for further enhancing e-commerce security in the future.
