Earthquake prediction is a crucial issue in the real world, the successful result of early prediction can save several human lives. Earthquakes, 60 km below from the surface are referred to as shallow earthquakes whereas there is a quick shift of plates within the crust of Earth, leading the cause of increase in the friction between two plates. The aim of this research is to forecast the magnitude of forthcoming earthquakes. For this numerous kind of machine learning algorithms have been projected for early prediction of earthquake but Gaussian Naïve Bayes algorithm has achieved the highest accuracy 91.89% for Gujarat region.
