Till recently, drones were utilized for warfare. However, the twenty-first century has shown that drones are a blessing for simple, environmentally friendly farming. Also known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), these devices provide farmers with vital and comprehensive data that leads to a bountiful crop that requires less labor and less money. The new Internet of things era gave rise to drones. The researchers have done systematic literature review to analyze the way drones are used in Indian agriculture. Based on it, the researchers have made a few recommendations. The research’s shortcoming stems from its purely secondary nature. However, the researchers intend to expand on this work in order to carry out primary research in the future. The study is important because it will benefit the government and farmers alike.
