SandalwoodNet: A Blockchain-Based Supplychain for Trusted Auction Biding and Fairtrade of Sandalwood
摘要
Blockchain technology has proven to be efficient in various aspects of agriculture supplychain management. However, a blockchain framework cannot be a one-size-fits-all solution, and supplychain scenarios need targeted solutions. Specifically, the supplychain of agroforestry products (like sandalwood) requires a specialized governance model to maintain transparency and fairness. This paper proposes a framework, SandalwoodNet, for the supplychain of sandalwood in the Indian context. Within the framework, the emphasis is on the interaction of stakeholders and anonymous auctions. Subsequently, the implementation of four smart contracts on the Ethereum platform has been carried out, and analysis has been done in terms of cost, performance, and security. The proposed framework proves to be cost-efficient with low latency and high throughput.
