Rice Product Sustainability Strategy: Multidisciplinary Collaboration for Indonesia Halal Product Development
摘要
This paper analyzes the food crisis, especially rice products as a staple ingredient of the Indonesian population, to produce halal-certified products in the long term. The academic community, especially lecturers and multidisciplinary students, is part of the nation’s next generation of young people expected to play an active role in development and contribute to solving societal problems. Lecturers and students of Binus University and the entire academic community called BINUSIAN have the obligation to continue to improve their role in contributing to improving the welfare of the Indonesian people. BINUSIANs should be agents of change and empower society so that every BINUSIAN provides benefits to the community, not a burden on the community or the Government. The research method in this study uses the case study method through a literature review of digital information media information data, including Government, industry, and university digital media. Case study research is carried out with the aim of obtaining a deeper understanding of a condition and meaning of an object that is the object of research. Case studies were examined from the results of hydroponics and aquaponics research. The results showed that the results of Multidisciplinary Research for the implementation of empowering society have not been optimal so the problem of the world food crisis will have an impact on the Indonesian economy.
