Security Threats of the Internet of Things in the Context of Big Data
摘要
As more and more electronic devices began to connect to the network to interconnect, people's demand for Internet of Things (IoT) applications is becoming increasingly significant. According to McKinsey’s prediction, the IoT has the potential to bring economic benefits of up to 11.1 trillion US dollars in 2025. With the large-scale growth of the number of IoT devices, the amount of data generated is also increasing. Because big data has a large amount of data and complex structure, it brings great hidden danger to the security of IoT in data analysis, mining, storage, and processing and poses a severe challenge to the related technologies. This article first introduces the three-tier logical architecture of the IoT, expounds the security issues and research status of each level; then, taking the application scenarios of smart homes as an example, the security issues are divided into three aspects: platform, equipment, and communication; moreover, the security protection technology of the IoT based on big data are briefly introduced; finally, based on the above analysis, the challenges and opportunities faced by the security technology research based on the IoT in the era of big data, and the future research direction is pointed out based on personal opinions.
