Programming technologies have become the implementation technologies for the information society. And the rapid development of AI makes all professions like “tools”, including programmers, will be replaced by AI technologies in the foreseeable future. We analyze the present situation for programming curriculums and properties for programming contests, and introduce constructions for teaching materials, curriculums, and the teaching system for “solving problems by programming”. Innovations and practical effects for these works are showed. Through solving problems by programming, students’ abilities for computational thinking and mathematical thinking can be improved greatly. And it meets the requirements for computer professionals in AI age.
