Innovation ultimately lies in the innovation of talent cultivation and education. This study focuses on the course of Algorithm Design and Analysis, analyzing the current educational status of this course. It identifies issues such as students’ difficulty in understanding complex algorithm concepts, the limited effectiveness of traditional teaching methods, and the gap between textbooks and cutting-edge knowledge. To address this problem, we have proposed strategies which combining visualization tools and project-driven teaching. This study is of great significance for enhancing computer science education, aiming at providing effective teaching strategies to improve students’ understanding and application of algorithms.
