Gamified learning with AI presents a promising avenue for enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes. This paper explores the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration within educational game frameworks. In this paper, a comparative analysis of four prominent frameworks: Digital Game-Based Learning (DGBL), Educational Games (EG) Design, Gamified Learning, and Co.LAB is done. This analysis evaluates their strengths, limitations, and suitability for incorporating AI mechanics. Based on this comparison, an improved Educational Game (EG) framework was proposed which leverages the strengths of each existing framework while considering the unique needs of AI-powered educational games. This novel framework aims to maximize the learning impact for players. This work provides valuable insights for game developers, educators, and researchers interested in the intersection of gamified learning, AI, and effective educational game design.

摘要
