Multifunctional Gas Cleaning Membranes
摘要
The multifunctional gas cleaning membrane, as the name suggests, refers to a membrane material used for gas cleaning that has multiple functions at the same time. By modifying the separation membrane with catalytic or adsorptive active components, the separation membrane can simultaneously remove particulate pollutants (such as dust, pollen, mold or bacteria) and harmful gases (such as formaldehyde, toluene, NOx etc.), ultimately achieving simultaneous removal of gas and solid phase pollutants. Although the multifunctional gas cleaning membrane, as a new type of membrane separation technology, started late, it has quickly become a research hotspot due to its novel concept of synergistic removal. Compared with conventional gas phase pollutant removal technology, the multifunctional gas cleaning membrane not only has higher removal efficiency, but also has lower application cost and longer service life, and is the future development direction of gas phase pollutant removal. This chapter provides a detailed introduction to the materials and development of multifunctional gas cleaning membranes based on the different components of gaseous pollutants and the current research status worldwide.
