Agriculture depends on natural processes like pollination, which are disrupted by biodiversity loss. Climate change increases the frequency and intensity of droughts and floods, making agricultural systems more susceptible to shocks. It also brings about unpredictable precipitation patterns and rising temperatures. Effective governance and policies are required to address these issues.
