The findings reveal that digital technologies significantly enhance resource optimisation, increase transparency in supply chains, and foster sustainable business models. However, challenges such as the high costs of digital infrastructure, the complexity of transitioning business models, and the environmental impacts of digital technologies themselves remain barriers to widespread adoption.
