To realise a Healthy and Prosperous Village, the village and supra-village governments must ensure easy access for villagers to health services, affordable health insurance for villagers, a decrease in maternal mortality rates (MMR), a decrease in infant mortality rates (IMR), an increase in the provision of complete immunisation for infants, an increase in the prevalence of contraceptive use, control of HIV/AIDS, TB, obesity, malaria, leprosy, filariasis (elephantiasis), control of drug abuse, and a decrease in the birth rate among teenagers.
