The EEG-RETRAINING AI system breaks VR’s limitations by introducing real-time AI assistance. A VR helmet with custom EEG electrodes captures brainwaves feeding data to an AI that tailors PS5 game modules for personalized cognitive improvement. This eliminates clinical limitations offering accessible therapy at home. Traditional methods often lack personalization leading to low adherence. This system addresses this with Gaia, a virtual guide who personalizes the VR experience further. Utilizing real-time EEG data and algorithms Gaia tailors’ sessions based on the child’s cognitive responses optimizing therapy. Research supports VR’s effectiveness with studies showing a 30% increase in attention and memory. Global need is immense. 1 in 10 children grapple with developmental disabilities (WHO 2022) with a prevalence of 2–3% in India (NIMHANS 2016). VR offers more engagement than traditional methods while AI personalizes therapy based on brain activity (Jung and Yoon in Multimed Tools Appl 76:11,305–311, 2017).
