The global diamond industry currently lacks a unified standard for assessing diamond quality. Each diamond product is individually evaluated and certified by individuals or reputable organizations within the industry. However, when these certifying entities cease their operations, the certifications lose their value, resulting in a loss of value for the associated diamond products. Furthermore, varying evaluation criteria employed by different individuals and organizations lead to fluctuations in the value of diamonds when transitioning between entities or across different countries. In this paper, we propose an approach to address this issue by implementing a decentralized system for quality management and certification of diamond products using smart contracts, NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens), IPFS (InterPlanetary File System), and distributed ledgers. Our model aims to ensure accurate assessment of diamond products according to predefined standards, providing individuals and organizations owning diamonds with confidence in the enduring value of their assets, irrespective of evaluations by different entities. This approach fosters consistency in the value of diamond products within the business sector and across nations, ultimately enhancing the global diamond industry.

摘要
