Analysis of Velocity Prediction Method of Electromagnetic Linear Propulsion Mechanism

The precision strike capability of weapon system is an important dimension of weapon effectiveness evaluation, and one of the important indexes to measure the launching performance is consistency and stability of solid armature muzzle velocity. Accurate prediction of muzzle velocity attenuation trend of electromagnetic linear propulsion mechanism is particularly important for the study of muzzle velocity consistency and stability. In this paper, two muzzle velocity prediction models, curve simulation and gray prediction, are used to predict the next launch velocity according to the test data. By calculating the relative mean error of muzzle velocity prediction, the two prediction models are compared and analyzed to find a suitable muzzle velocity prediction method for electromagnetic linear propulsion technology. Study the muzzle velocity attenuation law, and modify the control according to the results to form an efficient and reliable closed control chain and improve the launching accuracy of the armature muzzle velocity.
