Design of Multi-Mode Morphing Wings Based on Multi-Stable Beam-Type Metastructures
摘要
The morphing wing can change its shape through mechanism deformation, to improve the aerodynamic performance of the aircraft and save energy. Based on the multi-stable beam-type metastructures, a morphing wing structure with lightweight, large deformation, multiple stable states is designed in this paper. The overall structure can achieve two different deformation modes and maintain the profile shapes without the need for continuous external driving forces. Additionally, carbon-fiber materials are utilized for the flexible skin and actuation of the morphing structure. Finally, a prototype is constructed to demonstrate the multiple morphing modes, thereby validating the feasibility of the proposed structure.
