Steel fibres were found to be good in bond strength and thus increases the mechanical properties of the concrete at various elevated temperature. In this study, steel fibre volume fractions of 0, 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5% was used. Steel fiber reinforced concrete has much higher compressive strength than normal concrete. As the amount of steel fiber in the concrete increases, the compressive strength also increases, especially at higher temperatures. The ratio range between the concrete compressive strength at elevated temperature and at normal temperature was proposed for steel fibre volume fraction between 0 and 1.5%. Using response surface methodology (RSM), we developed a prediction model for the compressive strength of concrete with steel fiber volume fractions of 0, 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5% at temperatures of 28, 100, 200, 300, and 400 °C. Validations with other researcher’s works was also done.
