Context thick, white, with an inconspicuous odour. Lamellae close, wide, sinuate, unequal, white. Stipe 7–16 cm long, 5.5–10 cm thick, enlarged and up to more than 10 cm thick at base, often multipllye connected with other stipes, white, solid. Basidiospores 5–7.5 × 3.5–5 μm, oval to wide elliptical, smooth, hyaline.
