Pileus 1–3 cm broad, hemispherical to oblate hemispherical, white in upper portion and translucent in lower portion when young, then discolouring to dirty white to brown gradually, with a translucently reticulate pattern corresponding to the underneath pore ridges. Context thin, concolourous with pileus. Tubes 1.5–5 mm deep, porous, adnate, lighter than pileus or dirty white, waxy; pores 0.5–1 mm wide, angular. Stipe central, 2–5 cm long, 1.5–3 mm thick, cylindrical, hollow, concolourous with pileus or lighter, brittle, pruinose to glabrous. Basidiospores 6–8 × 4–5 μm, oval to wide elliptical, smooth, hyaline, amyloid.
