To organize a working team quickly after a strong earthquake occurs, who analyze the basic parameters and statistical seismic model of the earthquake sequence, locate the earthquake sequence precisely, inverting the focal mechanisms of the main earthquakes in the sequence and calculate focal parameters such as apparent stress based on the earthquake catalogue and waveform data observed by routine seismic network and mobile observation network. According to the above work result, together with the tectonic background and historical seismic data, the spatial distribution of earthquake sequence and the geometric structure and kinematic properties of the earthquake fault will be provided, then the fracturing fault, earthquake sequence type and earthquake tendency will be determined to provide scientific support for the related work of the earthquake emergency headquarters.
