The compilation objectives of A Guidebook to Earthquake Scientific Investigation (hereinafter, the Guidebook) are to summarize and take the experience of previous seismic scientific investigations, form normative investigation contents, procedures, methods and the results submitting scheme, etc., which promotes the deepening of “earthquake anatomizing” work, the operation and standardization of seismic investigation and serves better the earthquake disaster prevention and mitigation.
