This Chapter introduces the structure of the framework’s tailored interventions designed to address the unique needs of students affected by early childhood trauma. The framework integrates neuroscientific and psychological insights into key tasks, guiding educators to observe, analyse, and adapt strategies to their own context. Central to the framework is teacher agency, allowing educators to innovate and customise approaches based on their unique classroom dynamics. Rooted in evidence-based theories, the framework supports a staged approach with three phases: Orientation, Transition, and Integration. This structure helps educators implement and adjust interventions gradually, accommodating the individual pace of each student’s progress. The chapter underscores the framework’s flexibility and emphasis on teacher reflection, ensuring that it remains relevant and practical for supporting traumatized students in diverse educational settings.
