SCRUM-Based Automation for Increased Academic Workflow Efficiency
摘要
The handling of routine tasks such as sending emails, notes, and news manually can result in an increased workload, which is a significant problem in work environments. This study proposes implementing Microsoft Power Automate to automate the routine activities of the academic secretariat of a leading university in Ecuador. To carry out this implementation, the agile SCRUM methodology was adopted. It facilitates project management and execution through iterative development cycles known as sprints. By applying it, we were able to take advantage of the expertise of field experts and ensure an efficient implementation in terms of time and resources. The results showed a significant increase in routine activity productivity, with improvements reaching up to 98.33%. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of Microsoft Power Automate and the SCRUM methodology in enhancing organizational efficiency and productivity.
