Parapet is a short wall around the roof of a building, a key process of project quality, and an indispensable and closed part of the construction process. This paper attempts to use the DMAIC model to evaluate the construction quality of parapet. It analyzes the process from several aspects, such as the definition of construction quality of parapet, construction quality measurement, construction quality analysis, construction quality improvement and control. It explores the important factors that affect the quality of parapet from five aspects, namely personnel, machines, materials, methods, and environment, combined with engineering examples, so as to propose targeted countermeasures.
