Edge computing brings computing and data storage closer to the network’s edge, improving latency, bandwidth usage, and security. However, because edge devices are dynamic and diverse, resource provisioning is difficult. The analysis of resource provisioning in this article includes describing the issue, reviewing the available solutions, and talking about unresolved issues including heterogeneity, dynamic workloads, and edge device security and privacy. Research on resource provisioning for edge computing is suggested in this study, with an emphasis on exact algorithms, effective resource management frameworks, and financial considerations. For accurate and effective resource provisioning, it emphasizes taking dynamic workloads, heterogeneity, and device security into account.
