Cutting-Edge Technology-Based Social Enterprises in India for Sustainable, Inclusive Healthcare
摘要
India is developing quickly in the twenty-first century. Unfortunately, there has been very little inclusive progress. A large number of individuals live in poverty and frequently go without enough food. Primary schooling does benefit a lot of kids. Adequate nourishment and equal opportunity for education and employment are denied to girls and women. There is a significant gap in the healthcare facilities that are accessible to various segments of Indian society. On the one hand, the impoverished in the city ghetto localities and particularly in rural India lack access to basic healthcare services of high quality or cannot afford them, a privileged minority enjoys access to sophisticated and advanced healthcare facilities. Numerous social companies in India are employing clever, cutting-edge technology to address the issue of providing affordable, high-quality healthcare to India’s impoverished urban and rural populations. Objective: The study examines two social enterprises: AAarogyaVedh Healthcare InfoTech Pvt. Ltd., which offers mouth-to-mouth breathing with chest compressions to create cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR); and AmbuPod, a business for social benefit started by a family and which operates a non-conventional frugal innovative ambulance/medical unit that employs cutting-edge technology to deliver timely, high-quality healthcare at a reasonable cost. Research Methodology: The researchers took personal interviews in order to get primary data. They also referred to material from reputed research data bases by way of secondary research. Importance of the Study: The report will motivate businesses to employ technology to give everyone in India access to high-quality healthcare. Making such ethical companies a priority will encourage businesses, NGOs, and decision-makers to support them. The study also reveals that these social companies generate employment opportunities in addition to providing essential services like affordable healthcare that promotes corporal, cognitive, or psychological well-being.
