CBDC: Implementation of Central Bank Digital Currency Using Blockchain
摘要
The emergence of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) indicates a new era in monetary governance, with unprecedented transparency and efficiency in financial transactions. Our paper introduces a sophisticated CBDC system leveraging centralized blockchain technology to establish a centralized digital currency ecosystem overseen by the esteemed Central Bank. By addressing persistent challenges faced by global financial systems, such as money laundering and financial irregularities, we use blockchain’s immutable ledger to promote accountability and transparency in digital transactions. However, ensuring universal access to digital transactions presents a significant challenge, especially in areas with low smartphone penetration. To bridge the accessibility gap, we are dedicated to developing innovative solutions that allow everyone, regardless of smartphone ownership, to participate in the digital currency ecosystem. We strive to improve financial inclusion and accessibility for all individuals by implementing methods such as user verification and identification processes, smart card transactions, and offline OTP-based transactions. Additionally, our method includes a thorough examination of tools and technologies such as Ethereum, Geth, and web3.js, alongside the creation of private networks using Clique consensus. Our research aims to pave the way for a financially empowered future by exploring the factors influencing CBDC adoption and proposing novel implementation models that will promote long-term economic development and resilience.
