Responsibility dictates that individuals, communities, groups and organizations are willing to take ownership of their actions and receive the consequence of their actions. Responsibility also has a moral underpinning; not all responsibilities should be part of the legal or rule-based system. They understand that their decisions have consequences and take steps to ensure that they make informed choices. Responsibility is also about being reliable, dependable, and trustworthy.
