Useful spatial data representations are often critical to decision-making and planning. Many aspects of spatial information involve various factors of uncertainty, imprecise boundaries, and temporal issues, depending on the applications and decisions required. 摘要

Useful spatial data representations are often critical to decision-making and planning. Many aspects of spatial information involve various factors of uncertainty, imprecise boundaries, and temporal issues, depending on the applications and decisions required. In this survey, we overview soft computing approaches for managing spatial data uncertainty including rough sets, Dempster-Shafer evidence theory and fuzzy set techniques.
