Identity Politics
摘要
The idea of diaspora has become increasingly well known in a world that is becoming more globally interconnected. As people struggle with issues of belonging, cultural preservation, and power dynamics, identity politics within diaspora communities develops as a response to these difficulties. Identity politics is a significant and contentious phenomenon today. It alludes to shaping political discourse, advocacy, and policy-making through the mobilization of collective identities based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or other social categories. At its core, identity politics acknowledges that people’s lived experiences and social positions are intricately entwined with their identities and work to address systemic injustices and advance social justice.
