Sohaila Abdulali is an Indian American author, activist, and journalist known for her significant contribution to gender-based violence and feminism. Born in Mumbai, India, she has played a pivotal role in addressing issues related to sexual assault and women’s rights. Abdulali holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandeis University, majoring in economics and sociology, and a Master of Arts in communication from Stanford University. In addition to her authorship of two novels, she has contributed to the literary landscape with children’s books and short stories. Currently, she resides in New York with her family.
