Empirical Analysis of Work Values and Attitudes in Shanghai
摘要
This chapter presents the empirical findings of the study and analyses the relationships among generational cohorts, personality traits, organisational culture, work values, and work attitudes. The results reveal that work values play a significant mediating role in the relationship between generational differences and organisational culture and employee behavioural outcomes. However, the analysis indicates that personality traits do not exert their influence through the same mediating mechanism. The findings highlight the central role of value transformation in shaping employee orientations toward Tang Ping or Nei Juan, demonstrating that structural and cultural factors within organisations significantly influence how individuals interpret and respond to workplace pressures.
