A D-band Band-Stop Filter Based on a Dielectric Waveguide
摘要
In this paper, a band-stop filter based on the dielectric waveguide is proposed and works within the D band. Unlike conventional periodic-structure implementations, the proposed filter is configured using the surface-electromagnetic-wave resonator, which is realized by loading metallic patterns onto the waveguide. This configuration introduces transmission zeros (TZs) with small radiation loss. The proposed filter achieves a stopband from 129.3 to 145.9 GHz with the attenuation level exceeding 25 dB, and its insertion loss in the passband has no ripple with a minimum value of 0.6 dB. This work offers an alternative method for future terahertz filter designs.
