Analysis of the Influence of Life Values Education on College Students’ Intentions to Overcome Involution: Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior

Currently, the phenomenon of involution on university campuses is gradually becoming more prominent. College students gradually realize the negative impact of involution and show an intention to overcome it. Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior and Structural Equation Model, introducing the new variable of life values education, exploring the influencing factors and formation mechanisms of college students’ intention to overcome involution. The results indicate that life values education has a significant positive impact on the intention to overcome involution. Attitudes are influenced by both subjective norms and life values education. Life values education can indirectly influence the intentions by influencing attitudes and perceived behavioral control. It is recommended that universities attach importance to the education of life values and create a good atmosphere to overcome involution.
