It encompasses a range of nerve disorders that arise from prolonged hyperglycaemia, leading to nerve damage that manifests in various forms, including peripheral, autonomic, proximal and focal neuropathies. According to estimates, up to 50% of diabetic people may develop neuropathy at some point in their lives, underscoring the critical need for effective management strategies. Understanding key phenotypes and risk factors is crucial for clinicians treating people with diabetes. Plant derived dietary interventions helpful in get better glucose level control and other type 2 diabetes factors along with complications. Controlled diet involvement researched showed hopeful results in individuals with diabetic neuropathy. This article deals with various diets plan strategies used for the management of diabetic neuropathy and helpful for readers in understanding of involvement of diet in upper said disease management.
