Muscle and Motor System Disability
摘要
The disabilities discussed in this chapter include motor and muscular impairments. It analyses that muscle weakness and lack of motor control and coordination may affect movement and daily activities. In addition, the chapter looks into the root causes of motor impairments and the way they impact physical functions and locomotion. It highlights the significance of early assessment and rehabilitation procedures to improve motor skills and the quality of life in general. Another important aspect in this chapter is the fact that people who experience a disability of the muscle and motor system, such as muscular dystrophy, spinal muscular atrophy, and cerebral palsy, usually experience social issues like inaccessibility of open space, reliance on the caregiver, physical activity exclusion, and limited opportunities that affect their personal and family life.
