Reducing Negative Schemas in Psychosis
摘要
This chapter presents CBT methods for identifying and modifying negative schemas that contribute to distress and symptom exacerbation in psychosis. It outlines therapeutic goals and describes assessment approaches for detecting maladaptive core beliefs. Cognitive restructuring techniques are detailed step-by-step, followed by behavioral experiments designed to test schema-driven predictions and generate corrective experiences. The chapter emphasizes how reducing negative schemas improves emotional resilience, interpersonal functioning, and vulnerability to psychotic stressors.
