Treating Eating Disorder in Psychosis
摘要
This chapter addresses eating disorders co-occurring with psychosis, with aims that include ruling out malnutrition and metabolic disturbances as causes of psychotic symptoms, differentiating body image distortions from delusional beliefs, and managing binge-type problems linked to antipsychotic medication. It reviews screening and monitoring using SCOFF, EAT-26, EDE-Q, PHQ-ED, BMI/body weight, and broader physical monitoring. The chapter then presents CBT-ED applications for anorexia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and bulimia nervosa, describing typical components such as nutrition education, regular eating patterns, cognitive restructuring, mood regulation, body image work, and relapse prevention. These interventions are framed as part of an integrated plan that stabilizes physical health, supports ongoing pharmacotherapy, and reduces psychopathology in psychosis.
