Research on Direct Power Control Strategy Based on New Switching Table of Three-Phase Voltage Source PWM Rectifier

Aiming at three-phase voltage source PWM rectifier(VSR)using the traditional switch table direct power control(DPC) had a runaway area of reactive power, which will resulting in active power pulsation, high network side current harmonic and DC voltage instability, a new DPC using new switch vector table without zero vector was proposed, the best switching vector for each sector can be got from the active power and reactive power hysteresis comparator, to achieve accurately control of active power. The obtained simulation results indicate that compared with the traditional switch table control, new switch table can improve the control effect on reactive power and reduces the network side current harmonic. In addition, it can reduces the fluctuation of the output DC voltage and the ripple wave of power.
