Resection Proximal Humerus and Shoulder Girdle
摘要
Proximal humerus is a common site for primary malignant sarcoma and metastases. The anatomical relations are complicated; however, limb salvage surgery is possible in majority of the cases and amputation is rarely performed for sarcoma. Advancement of resection and reconstruction is based on the Tikhoff-Linberg procedure, wide margin resection, and shoulder suspension reconstruction for elbow and hand function.
