Posterior Thigh Resection
摘要
The posterior thigh consists of the semitendinosus, semimembranosus, biceps femoris and hamstring part of the adductor magnus muscle. The sciatic nerve runs between the medial and lateral hamstrings. Preservation is mandatory for motor and sensory function of the lower limbs. Wide resection of either muscle or entire compartment is possible without significant morbidity.
